What is this trial?

This is a research study testing two different drug combinations in children and young adults (ages 1–30) whose solid tumors have returned or are not responding to standard treatment. The study is comparing combined with either or . Researchers want to find the right doses of these medication combinations and learn whether they can slow down or stop tumor growth.

Children and young adults whose cancers come back or stop responding to initial treatment have very few options. This medication is designed to attack cancer cells in new ways, and combining it with other drugs may make it more effective against hard-to-treat tumors.

Do you qualify?

You likely qualify if…

you are between 1 and 30 years old at the time you enroll
you have been diagnosed with a solid tumor (not a brain tumor) that has come back or is not responding to treatment
your tumor has been confirmed by a biopsy or pathology report
you are well enough to be up and around at least 50% of the time (even if you use a wheelchair)
your blood cell counts and organ function are adequate to safely receive treatment

You likely don't qualify if…

you have a tumor in the brain or central nervous system
your blood counts are too low (certain thresholds for neutrophils, platelets, or hemoglobin)
you have severe organ damage that makes chemotherapy unsafe
you are unable to complete the planned visits and monitoring schedule

What participation looks like

You would visit the hospital or clinic regularly to receive the medication combination intravenously (through an IV) on a set schedule, likely over several cycles of treatment. You would have blood tests and imaging scans to check how your tumor is responding and to monitor for side effects. The study has two phases: an initial phase to find the safest and most effective doses, followed by a larger phase where patients are randomly assigned to one of the two drug combinations.
