Do you qualify?
You likely qualify if…
- you are 18 years old or older
- you have a tooth in a visible area of your mouth that needs to be extracted and replaced with an implant
- you have significant bone loss in the extraction socket (classified as Socket Type 3, Subclass B or C)
- you are willing and able to give informed consent and commit to the study

- you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- you have a condition that affects bone health, such as uncontrolled diabetes, osteoporosis, or long-term steroid use
- you have an active infection or abscess at the tooth extraction site
- you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the materials being used in this procedure
What participation looks like
You will have your damaged tooth extracted and immediately receive a dental implant along with special bone-grafting materials and the experimental membrane. The research team will monitor your healing through clinical exams and X-rays at multiple follow-up visits over several months. Your role involves keeping your appointments, following post-operative care instructions, and allowing the team to collect data on how well your bone heals.
