You likely qualify if…

you are 18 years old or older
you have had a stroke, mini-stroke (TIA), or other blood vessel problem affecting your brain
you are at risk for acute stroke and have come to a hospital emergency department, intensive care unit, or hospital ward for evaluation

You likely don't qualify if…

you have certain metal implants in your body (like pacemakers, neural stimulators, aneurysm clips, cochlear implants, or metal fragments) that make MRI scans unsafe
you are pregnant
you have a condition that prevents you from safely entering an MRI scanner, such as severe claustrophobia or severe obesity
