Building a Registry to Understand Cutaneous Lupus

This is a research registry study — not a treatment trial — designed to collect information from patients with cutaneous lupus (a form of lupus that primarily affects the skin) and compare it with healthy volunteers. Researchers will gather your medical history, blood samples, skin samples, and photographs of affected areas to better understand what causes cutaneous lupus and how to improve diagnosis and care.

Doctors still have many unanswered questions about cutaneous lupus — including what causes it and the best ways to diagnose and manage it. This registry brings together information from many patients in one place, which gives researchers the power to spot patterns and develop better strategies for helping people with this disease.
