Long-term tracking registry for lung fibrosis patients

This is a long-term research registry—not a drug trial—that follows patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other chronic lung fibrosis conditions over several years. Researchers collect medical information, test results, and biological samples to understand how these diseases develop and progress. The goal is to identify patterns that could eventually lead to better treatments.

Lung fibrosis is a serious condition where lung tissue becomes scarred and stiff, making it harder to breathe. Researchers still don't fully understand why some patients get worse quickly while others progress more slowly.
