Switching eye injections to treat vision loss from wet macular degeneration

This trial is testing whether aflibercept, an eye injection medication, works better for people whose wet age-related macular degeneration (a condition that damages vision in the center of the eye) hasn't fully improved with previous treatment. Researchers want to see if switching to this medication can help preserve or improve vision in people who have already tried another similar injection therapy.

Wet macular degeneration is a common cause of vision loss in older adults, and some patients don't respond well enough to their first treatment. This study aims to find out whether the medication can help patients whose vision hasn't improved as much as hoped with standard care.
