Brain Stimulation and Arm Training After Stroke for Neglect

This trial is testing a combination treatment for stroke survivors experiencing neglect — a condition where the brain has difficulty paying attention to one side of the body or surroundings. The study combines transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a non-invasive procedure that gently stimulates the brain, with arm rehabilitation exercises. Researchers want to see whether this combination can improve attention, arm strength, and movement in stroke survivors.

After a stroke, many survivors struggle with neglect, which affects both their ability to pay attention and their ability to move their arm.
