This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases — it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This trial is testing a new way to deliver hospital-level care in your own home instead of requiring you to stay in a hospital building. The research team will provide doctors, nurses, blood tests, X-rays, intravenous medications, and oxygen therapy all at your home. This model aims to offer the same quality of care as a traditional hospital while reducing infections, confusion, costs, and the loss of strength that often happen during hospital stays.
Hospitals are expensive and can sometimes be unsafe—especially for older people. Many patients develop infections, confusion, or lose strength they never regain during hospital stays, and waiting for a hospital bed can delay care. This trial is exploring whether delivering hospital-level care at home can be just as safe and effective while reducing these risks and costs.

After you are seen and diagnosed in the emergency department, you will be discharged home with a specialized medical team assigned to care for you there. That team will include doctors, nurses, and other specialists who will visit your home to provide treatment such as blood tests, vital sign monitoring, intravenous medications, oxygen therapy, and other care typically given in a hospital. You will be interviewed about your experience when you leave the program and again 30 days later.
