Testing wireless heart pressure monitors in lung hypertension patients

This trial is testing whether a wireless device called the CardioMEMS HF System can help doctors monitor and manage pulmonary hypertension more effectively. The device measures pressure in your heart's pulmonary artery and sends the data wirelessly to your doctor, so they can see how you're doing without you having to visit the hospital as often. You'll also wear a Fitbit activity tracker so doctors can see how your activity level relates to your heart pressure readings.

Pulmonary hypertension is a serious condition that requires careful monitoring, but frequent hospital visits can be difficult for patients. This study wants to see if remote monitoring using wireless devices can help doctors catch problems earlier and manage your treatment more effectively while reducing the number of visits you need to make.
