Tracking Weight Loss Through Minimally Invasive Stomach Procedures

This study is building a long-term registry of patients who undergo endoscopic bariatric therapies — minimally invasive procedures done through the mouth that help reduce stomach size or change how the digestive system works to promote weight loss. Researchers want to learn how well these procedures work for weight loss and how they compare to other available weight loss treatments, including traditional surgery.

Many people struggle with obesity but cannot or do not want to have traditional weight loss surgery. This study exists to better understand whether these newer, less invasive stomach procedures are safe and effective alternatives, and to learn which patients benefit most from them.
