Based on your results, you may be randomly assigned to either meet with a geriatrician (a doctor specializing in older adult care) alongside your regular cancer doctors, or to continue with standard cancer care alone. If you're assigned to the geriatrician group, you'll have visits with that specialist who will help manage your symptoms, medications, and any other health concerns. All participants will be followed for one year as they receive their ongoing cancer treatment.
