PITCHER is a research study that collects and analyzes tumor samples from patients who have cancer that has spread throughout the abdominal cavity. Researchers will examine how cancer cells in different areas of the same tumor develop different characteristics and how they adapt to survive in different environments within the body. This research aims to help doctors better understand why these cancers behave the way they do and may eventually lead to better treatment strategies.
