Surgery with or without immune-boosting medication for recurrent throat cancer

This trial is testing whether toripalimab, an immune-boosting medication, helps improve outcomes when combined with surgery for people whose nasopharyngeal cancer has come back after previous treatment. Half of the participants will have surgery alone, and half will receive toripalimab before and after their surgery. Researchers want to see if adding this medication helps prevent the cancer from returning and improves survival.

When nasopharyngeal cancer comes back after initial treatment, surgery is often needed to remove the tumor. However, some cancers still return even after surgery. This trial is testing whether this medication can help the body's immune system fight any remaining cancer cells and improve long-term outcomes.
