How COVID-19 affected women in underserved communities

This is a research survey study designed to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the health and wellbeing of women in underserved communities — particularly women who are Black, Hispanic, American Indian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander. Researchers want to learn about the mental, physical, and financial impacts the pandemic has had on these communities, and to use that information to create better public health programs in the future.

Women in underserved communities often face greater health challenges and have less access to resources, and the pandemic made many of these problems worse. This study exists to understand exactly how the pandemic affected these women so that health officials can build stronger, more supportive communities going forward.
