This is a research study designed to follow young people who have been recently diagnosed with atrial fibrillation—a condition where the heart's upper chambers beat irregularly. Over five years, researchers will monitor how your condition changes, what symptoms you experience, and how your heart responds to treatment. The goal is to better understand why atrial fibrillation develops in younger patients and what helps predict how it will progress.

Atrial fibrillation in younger patients is still not well understood compared to atrial fibrillation in older people. By carefully tracking newly diagnosed young patients over time, researchers hope to learn what factors influence how the condition develops and worsens, which could eventually lead to better ways to prevent or manage it in this age group.
