Understanding COVID-19 outcomes across European hospitals

This is a large international registry study that gathers detailed medical information from patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Central and Eastern European countries. Researchers are collecting data about patients' backgrounds, health conditions, and COVID-19 outcomes to help doctors better understand who is at higher risk and make faster, smarter decisions about patient care — like whether someone can safely go home, needs standard hospital care, or requires specialized intensive care.

COVID-19 affects many parts of the body and affects people differently depending on their age and existing health conditions. This study exists to fill important gaps in knowledge about how COVID-19 impacts patients in different regions, and to create practical tools that help doctors quickly identify who needs what level of care during a crisis.
