Long-term tracking of blood cell disorders at one hospital

This is a long-term research study that enrolls patients diagnosed with plasma cell disorders—a group of conditions where certain white blood cells produce too many antibodies and cause problems throughout the body. Researchers will track your health over time, collect blood and bone marrow samples, and monitor how well your treatment is working. The goal is to better understand what factors predict which patients will do better or worse, and how the tumor environment around cancer cells may affect outcomes.

Plasma cell disorders can be very different from person to person, and doctors don't yet fully understand which patients will have the best outcomes with current treatments. This study aims to gather detailed information over many years to help doctors predict outcomes better and develop more personalized treatment plans in the future.
