Urine Test for Detecting Bladder Cancer

This trial is testing a new urine-based test called the Human Multigene Methylation Detection Kit that looks for specific genetic markers in your urine that may indicate bladder cancer. The researchers want to see how well this simple urine test works compared to standard bladder cancer diagnostic methods like imaging, cystoscopy (a camera exam of the bladder), and tissue biopsies. If successful, this could offer patients a non-invasive way to screen for or help diagnose bladder cancer.

Bladder cancer is often diagnosed late because current screening methods can be uncomfortable or invasive. This trial aims to develop a simpler, less invasive urine test that could catch bladder cancer earlier or rule it out more easily in people with symptoms or risk factors.
