Understanding Long-Term Symptoms After COVID-19 Recovery

This is a research study following people who have recovered from COVID-19 to learn more about long-COVID — symptoms that persist or appear three months or more after the acute infection ends. Researchers across Europe, Africa, Mexico, Russia, and Asia want to understand how common these lingering symptoms are, who is most affected, and why some people experience them while others don't.

Many people report ongoing symptoms months after their COVID-19 infection clears — things like fatigue, brain fog, breathing problems, or pain — but we don't yet fully understand why this happens or how to predict who will be affected. This study aims to fill that gap by carefully tracking a large group of recovered patients to identify patterns and causes.
