Testing a new inhaled antifungal medication in healthy people and those with cystic fibrosis

This trial is testing a medication called Amphotericin B Cystetic for Inhalation (ABCI), which you inhale directly into your lungs. The study has three parts: first, healthy volunteers receive single or repeated doses to make sure the medication is safe; then, people with cystic fibrosis receive the medication to see if it helps treat lung infections. Researchers want to understand how your body handles this treatment and whether it can reduce fungal infections in the lungs.

People with cystic fibrosis are prone to fungal lung infections that are difficult to treat and can damage their airways. This medication is designed to fight these infections directly in the lungs, and this trial will determine if it's safe and actually works.
