This research study wants to understand what patients with end-stage kidney disease prefer when it comes to life-sustaining treatments—such as decisions about resuscitation or intensive care—as their illness progresses. Researchers will ask you questions about your medical history, your understanding of your kidney disease, any symptoms you're experiencing, and how confident you feel about your treatment choices. The goal is to help doctors and families have better conversations about what matters most to you.
