Very Low Dose Radiation Therapy for Marginal Zone Lymphoma

This trial is testing a new approach using ultra-low dose radiation therapy to treat marginal zone lymphoma, a slow-growing blood cancer. The treatment uses a very small amount of radiation (4 Gray, with an optional additional 12 Gray if needed) delivered over just 1-2 days. Researchers want to see if this minimal radiation dose can work just as well as standard treatments while reducing side effects.

Current treatments for marginal zone lymphoma often use chemotherapy or higher radiation doses, which can cause significant side effects. This trial exists to find out whether using much lower radiation doses might be effective and safer for patients.
