Tracking liver cancer treatment outcomes in real-world patients

This is a registry study—meaning researchers will collect information from patients who are already receiving SIR-Spheres, a radiation-based treatment for liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. The study will track approximately 845 patients across multiple hospitals in 10 countries to understand how this treatment works in real-world settings and what outcomes patients experience over time.

Doctors need better information about how this medication performs when used in everyday practice (rather than in controlled clinical trials), especially for patients whose cancer has stopped responding to chemotherapy or who cannot tolerate chemotherapy. This study will help doctors understand which patients benefit most and what side effects to watch for.
