Testing a Smartphone App to Monitor Cystic Fibrosis at Home

This trial is testing MuCopilot, a free smartphone application designed to help people with cystic fibrosis monitor their lung health and exercise capacity from home. The app collects objective measurements about your cough, shortness of breath, and walking ability, as well as your symptom experiences—all through simple digital tests you can do on your phone between regular clinic visits. The study wants to make sure the app is easy to use and safe.

Currently, people with cystic fibrosis must come to the clinic in person to get their lung function tested. This medication aims to give patients a way to track important health measures at home, which could help catch changes earlier and reduce the need for frequent clinic visits.
