This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases — it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This trial is testing whether a guided exercise program can help people with head and neck cancer stay more active and sit less during and after their cancer treatment. Researchers know that a sedentary lifestyle (spending too much time sitting) can reduce survival chances in cancer patients, so they want to see if regular exercise sessions—either in person or online—can help change this pattern and improve how patients feel.
Studies show that cancer patients who sit too much have worse outcomes, partly because inactivity changes the body's metabolism in harmful ways. This trial exists to find out whether adding a structured exercise program to standard cancer care can help patients move more, rest better, feel less tired, and ultimately live longer and healthier lives.

If you join this trial, you'll be randomly placed into either a standard care group or an exercise program group. Both groups will wear a small activity tracker for one week before each of six study visits. If you're in the exercise group, you'll do 1–2 exercise sessions per week (either online or in person) that include gentle-to-moderate cardio, strength training, stretching, and yoga—each lasting about 40 minutes. The whole study lasts through your cancer treatment and into the recovery period afterward.
