Testing a natural supplement to heal finger ulcers in scleroderma

This research study is testing whether a supplement called Vasculera can help heal the painful open sores (ulcers) that sometimes develop on the fingers of people with systemic sclerosis, a condition where the skin and tissues become tight and stiff. About two-thirds of the participants will receive the active medication, while one-third will receive an inactive placebo, so researchers can see whether the treatment actually works. Over 8 weeks, you'll have four visits where your fingers will be examined and photographed, and you'll answer questions about pain and how the ulcers are affecting your daily life.

People with systemic sclerosis often struggle with painful finger ulcers that are hard to treat with current medications. Researchers want to see if this natural supplement might be a safe and effective way to help these wounds heal better.
