Testing needle treatment for shoulder muscle pain

This trial is testing dry needling—a procedure where thin needles are inserted into shoulder muscles under ultrasound guidance—to see if it can relieve shoulder pain caused by muscle tension and trigger points. Half of the participants will receive real dry needling treatment, while the other half will receive a sham (fake) version where the needle is placed in fatty tissue instead of muscle. All participants will also do daily shoulder stretches and receive guidance on pain management.

Shoulder pain from muscle tension is a common problem, and doctors want to know if this needle-based treatment is truly effective or if improvement comes from other factors like exercise and attention from healthcare providers.
