Testing a new heart failure medication combined with an existing drug

This trial is testing whether vicadrostat, a new medication, works better for heart failure when combined with empagliflozin (a medication already approved for heart failure) compared to empagliflozin alone. You would take one tablet by mouth once daily, and researchers would track how the medication affects your heart failure symptoms and overall health over time.

Many people with heart failure still struggle with symptoms even while taking current treatments. This study aims to find out if this new medication could provide additional benefit when added to existing therapy.
