Testing a New Asthma Treatment Plan for Children in Hospital and Primary Care

This trial is testing whether a new, structured asthma care plan — called the Asthma Integrated Care Pathway — helps doctors treat children's asthma attacks more effectively and consistently. The study involves doctors and nurses from hospitals and clinics who will either follow this new care plan or continue with their usual approach. Researchers will compare how well each group follows best practices for treating mild-to-moderate asthma attacks in children.

Asthma is the most common chronic disease in children and seriously affects their quality of life. Right now, different doctors and hospitals treat asthma attacks differently, which can lead to inconsistent care and worse outcomes. This trial aims to see if having all doctors follow the same evidence-based care plan can improve treatment and reduce these differences.
