How well does this IBD medication work in real-world practice

This is a real-world study of upadacitinib, an already-approved medication for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). Researchers want to understand how well this medication works and how safe it is when people take it as part of their normal medical care in Belgium, rather than in a controlled research setting.

While this medication has been tested and approved, doctors want to learn more about how it performs over the long term when real patients use it in everyday life. This study will help doctors understand whether the medication continues to work well and remains safe for people with moderate to severe inflammatory bowel disease.
