Phase 3 โ Testing in thousands of people, comparing the treatment against what doctors currently use. This is the last big step before approval.
After a minor stroke or TIA (transient ischemic attack), doctors want to prevent another stroke from happening. This trial tests two different medication combinations: one pairing aspirin with cilostazol, and another pairing aspirin with clopidogrel. Both combinations are blood-thinning medications, and this study will determine which one works better at stopping future strokes while remaining safe.
Minor strokes and TIAs are warning signs that another, more serious stroke could happen soon. Doctors need to know which combination of blood-thinning medications is most effective at preventing a second stroke while keeping patients safe from dangerous bleeding.

If you join this study, you will be randomly assigned to receive either aspirin combined with cilostazol or aspirin combined with clopidogrel. You will take your assigned medication combination daily for 90 days. You will have clinic visits to assess your recovery at day 7 and again at 3 months, with brain imaging (MRI or CT scans) and blood tests at certain timepoints to check how well the treatment is working and to monitor for any bleeding complications.
