This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases โ it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This pilot study is testing a smart pillow designed to help people with snoring or obstructive sleep apnea (a condition where breathing stops and starts during sleep). The pillow has special air chambers that gently detect when you snore and automatically adjust your head position to help keep your airway open โ all without waking you up. Researchers want to see if this simple device can improve sleep quality for you and your sleep partner.
Snoring and sleep apnea disrupt not only your sleep but often your partner's as well, and they can affect your health. While treatments exist, many people find them uncomfortable or inconvenient. This trial is testing whether the smart pillow offers a gentler, easier alternative or add-on to help manage these conditions.

You'll participate for about 4 weeks total. First, you'll spend 7 days wearing a watch that tracks your sleep while using your regular pillow and completing daily sleep logs. Then, you'll use the smart pillow for 14 days โ the pillow will automatically adjust when it detects snoring, and you'll continue wearing the tracking watch and filling out logs. If you have a sleep partner, they'll also wear a tracking watch and complete surveys to help measure how the pillow affects both of your sleep. You can keep using any snoring or sleep apnea treatments you currently use during the study.
