You will receive the Magtrace magnetic tracer injection as part of your planned breast surgery. After surgery, your surgeon will check for any skin discoloration caused by the tracer. If no discoloration appears, you'll complete a brief quality-of-life survey and return for one follow-up visit at 12 months. If discoloration does occur, you'll complete surveys and return for follow-up visits at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months (or until the discoloration fades) so doctors can track how it heals and how you're feeling about it.
