Testing human placental membrane patches for hard-to-heal foot and leg ulcers

This trial is testing whether special patches made from human placental membrane—called AM/Single and AM/Double—can help heal diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers when used alongside standard wound care. These patches are designed to be placed on your wound to potentially speed up healing. Researchers want to know whether these patches work better than standard care by itself.

Many people with diabetes develop foot ulcers that don't heal well with standard treatments like dressings and offloading, and some leg ulcers are similarly stubborn. This trial exists to see whether adding the placental membrane patches to standard care can help these wounds close faster and more completely.
