Tracking how well a new bowel disease medication works in real life

This is a real-world study of how well mirikizumab (Omvoh) works for people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will follow adults who are already being prescribed this medication by their doctor as part of standard care, and track how their symptoms change over the course of a year. The goal is to understand how this medication performs in everyday practice, outside of a controlled lab setting.

While new medications are tested in clinical trials, researchers want to see how they actually work when patients use them in their normal lives and with their regular doctors. This study will help fill that gap by collecting real-world information about how well this treatment helps people with ulcerative colitis feel better.
