Testing a Catheter-Free Way to Deliver Bladder Medication

This study is testing a new way to deliver medication directly into your bladder without using a traditional catheter. Instead of inserting a thin tube all the way into your bladder, doctors use a small specialized adapter called the UroDapter that only goes about 6-8 millimeters into the urethra opening. The study will track how well this treatment works and how patients feel about it compared to the older catheter method.

Traditional bladder instillation therapy requires inserting a catheter, which can be uncomfortable and carries risks like urinary tract infections, bleeding, and urethral damage. This study exists to see whether the catheter-free approach is safer, easier for patients, and just as effective at treating bladder conditions.
