Testing a new cancer treatment targeting mesothelin-positive tumors

This is a Phase 1 clinical trial testing a new medication called CT-95 in people with advanced cancers that have a specific protein marker called mesothelin. The trial has two parts: first, researchers will test different doses of the medication in small groups to find the safest dose, and then they will test that dose in a larger group to see how well it works. The medication is given as an intravenous infusion (through a vein) once per week.

Mesothelin is a protein found on certain cancer cells, including ovarian, pancreatic, lung, and mesothelioma cancers. This new treatment is designed to target that protein specifically, which may help kill cancer cells while causing fewer side effects than traditional chemotherapy.
