Testing a new medication to help newly diagnosed blood cancer patients

This study is testing whether a newer medication called teclistamab can help people with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma get better results when used after standard chemotherapy. You would first receive three cycles of standard chemotherapy drugs (bortezomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone), then receive the medication as a follow-up treatment. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at controlling the cancer long-term.

Multiple myeloma is a serious blood cancer, and doctors are always looking for better ways to treat it, especially in newly diagnosed patients. This trial exists to see whether adding this medication after standard chemotherapy can improve how well the cancer responds and how long people stay in remission.
