How well does an oral medication work for inflammatory bowel disease in China

This is a real-world study looking at how well upadacitinib works for people in China who have inflammatory bowel disease (either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis). Researchers want to understand whether this oral medication — which is the only pill-form targeted treatment approved for IBD in China — actually helps patients whose disease hasn't responded to other treatments. The study will follow about 174 patients to track how the medication affects their symptoms and overall health.

Many patients with inflammatory bowel disease don't respond well to current biologic treatments available, and doctors in China need real-world evidence about whether this medication can help those patients. There's limited information about how this treatment works specifically in Chinese patients, and this study aims to fill that gap.
