Remote monitoring app for people taking insulin for diabetes

This trial is testing whether a smartphone app called Caaring® can help people with diabetes who take insulin manage their condition remotely. The app lets you track your blood sugar, answer health questions, and share your data with your healthcare team from home. Researchers want to see if this remote monitoring approach works just as well as traditional office visits and medical records review.

Many people with diabetes struggle to attend frequent in-person appointments or feel overwhelmed managing their insulin therapy. This study exists to find out whether remote monitoring through an app can provide the same quality of care and help people stay healthier while reducing the burden of travel and scheduling.
