This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases โ it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This trial is testing a mobile app called Moms@Home that helps pregnant women with high blood pressure monitor and manage their condition at home. The app includes stories from other pregnant women who have dealt with high blood pressure, a digital blood pressure monitor, and a dashboard where you can track your readings. The study wants to see if this app approach helps women check their blood pressure more regularly and manage their health better than standard care alone.
High blood pressure during pregnancy can be risky for both mother and baby, but many pregnant women don't check their blood pressure at home regularly. This trial exists to find out if using stories and technology can help more pregnant women stay on top of their blood pressure management and improve their pregnancy outcomes.

If you join this study, you'll be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group receives the Moms@Home app on a smartphone (which the study provides if needed), a digital blood pressure monitor, and a fitness tracker to log your activity and blood pressure readings. The other group receives a paper diary and a digital blood pressure monitor to track the same information. You'll share your home blood pressure monitoring data with your healthcare team, and the study will follow you throughout your pregnancy to see how well the app helps you manage your blood pressure and improve your pregnancy health.
