Two methods to find cancer spread in lymph nodes

This study is testing whether a newer, faster laboratory method called OSNA works just as well as the traditional method (ultrastaging) at finding cancer cells in lymph nodes that are removed during endometrial cancer surgery. Both methods examine the same lymph nodes to look for signs that cancer has spread, but they use different laboratory techniques to do so.

Doctors need reliable ways to check if endometrial cancer has spread to the lymph nodes, because this information helps guide treatment decisions and predict outcomes. This trial will determine whether the newer OSNA method can replace the standard method, potentially offering faster results and better care for patients.
