Testing a new add-on treatment for sudden COPD flare-ups

This study is testing a medication called rademikibart to see if it helps people recover from sudden, severe flare-ups of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). You would receive this medication along with the standard treatment doctors normally give during a flare-up. The trial will compare people who get the new medication to those who get standard treatment alone to see which works better.

When COPD flare-ups happen, they can be serious and hard to control with standard treatments alone. Researchers believe this new medication may help reduce inflammation and help people recover more quickly, especially those whose bodies show signs of a specific type of inflammation.
