Testing a new medication for moderate-to-severe itchy skin inflammation

This is a Phase 2 study testing a new medication called CM512 to see if it can help adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (a chronic skin condition that causes intense itching and inflammation). Researchers want to understand whether this medication is safe and whether it actually works better than a placebo. About 200 people will participate in this randomized, double-blind study, meaning some will receive the medication and others will receive a placebo, and neither participants nor researchers will know who gets which.

Atopic dermatitis can significantly impact quality of life, causing persistent itching and skin damage that existing treatments don't always control adequately. This trial is testing whether this new treatment approach could provide better relief for people with moderate-to-severe forms of the condition.
