Testing a gel injection for knee arthritis pain relief

This trial is testing hyaluronic acid injection—a gel-like substance injected directly into the knee joint—to see if it can reduce pain and improve how well your knee works in people with moderate knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will measure not only how much pain decreases and how much your knee function improves, but also track changes in inflammatory markers in your blood and joint fluid to understand how the medication works at a deeper level.

Knee arthritis causes chronic pain and disability for many people, and current treatments don't always work well enough. This study aims to understand whether this medication can reduce the inflammation driving arthritis pain and whether changes in inflammatory markers in the body can predict who will benefit most from the treatment.
