If you join this study, researchers will perform a brain wave test (EEG) on you within 72 hours of your stroke by placing small electrodes on your scalp—this is painless and takes just a few minutes. You'll have this test done again during follow-up visits over the next 3 to 6 months as part of your regular stroke care.
