Testing two new medications together for advanced head and neck cancer

This is a Phase 1 trial testing a combination of two medications called finotonlimab and stapokibart to treat recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC)—cancer that has returned or spread to other parts of the body. The trial will enroll 10 patients total and will first monitor safety closely in the first few participants before enrolling the remaining patients. Researchers want to learn whether this medication combination is safe and whether it helps shrink or control the cancer.

Many people with advanced head and neck cancer stop responding to standard treatments like PD-1 inhibitors and platinum-based chemotherapy. This trial exists to find a new treatment option for patients whose cancer has progressed despite these earlier therapies.
