Natural oral care products for gum disease and diabetes management

This trial is testing Biorepair Plus Parodontogel and Biorepair Plus mouthwash—toothpaste and rinse products made with para-probiotics (beneficial bacteria ingredients)—to see if they help improve gum health and blood sugar control in people with both gum disease and type 2 diabetes. All participants will also receive standard gum disease treatment from a dentist. The study will compare how well this medication works compared to a traditional antimicrobial mouthwash over 6 months.

Gum disease and diabetes are closely connected—each can make the other worse—and people with both conditions often struggle to manage them together. Researchers want to know if this natural treatment might offer an additional benefit beyond standard gum disease therapy to help patients with both conditions.
