How stroke patients balance while picking objects from the ground

This research study explores how people who have experienced a stroke maintain their balance and stability when performing everyday tasks like picking up an object from the ground. Researchers will observe your natural movement patterns and compare them to how you move when your weight is guided to be more evenly distributed between both legs. The goal is to better understand movement challenges after stroke and how rehabilitation can be improved.

After a stroke, people often have difficulty balancing and tend to put more weight on their unaffected leg, which can increase fall risk and limit their ability to do daily activities. This study aims to understand these movement patterns better so that rehabilitation programs can be designed to help stroke patients move more safely and independently.
