Building Better Lab Models of Bone and Soft Tissue Cancers

This research study is collecting tumor tissue and blood samples from patients diagnosed with sarcomas (cancers of bone or soft tissue) or cancers that have spread to the bones or lungs. Researchers will use these samples to build innovative laboratory models—think of them as miniature versions of your tumor grown in a lab—that can be used to test how different treatments work.

Doctors need better ways to predict which treatments will work for each patient's cancer and which ones might cause harmful side effects. By creating patient-specific laboratory models, researchers hope to identify new drug targets and develop more effective treatment strategies tailored to individual tumors.
